Yes. Sound effects, audio and music can all be added to the Kea Coloring Book.
A soundtrack can be added to the each coloring book, and/or to each page. Soundtrack files must be in MP3 format.
Book soundtracks vs. Page soundtracks
The book soundtrack and page soundtracks are separate from one another.
This means that you can define a soundtrack that plays for the book, and also have separate page soundtracks which play for each page. When the user goes to a new page, the current page soundtrack will stop, but the book soundtrack continues.
For example you could use the book soundtrack to provide background music and still provide page-by-page narration, or sound effects simultaneously.
Using soundtracks
Soundtracks are just audio files, so they can be used for music, voice, sound-effects, etc.
Some examples...
- Add a musical soundtrack themed to the contents of the coloring book.
- Add narration to a story-book.
E.g. "Once upon a time there were three little pigs". - Add and instructional message.
E.g. "This scene shows 3 different safety devices, can you name them?" - Add a sound effect specific to the page.
E.g. For a coloring page of a cat, have a cat meowing.
There are lots of possibilities, and even some very simple sound effects can really bring your coloring books to life.
